The
SITE SERIES // Dance on Common Ground
...reflecting the sights, sounds and energy
of our community spaces.
The
SITE SERIES // Dance on Common Ground, brings live contemporary
dance and improvisation performance into the public spaces that
we inhabit daily, using movement as a means through which to see
and enlivening these spaces in different ways. Staged in natural
or urban locations, this series of site-specific performances explores
the interactions and relationships of people both to a space and
to each other as it surprises the audience with dance in unexpected
places.
The
SITE SERIES 2009 is part of the 4Culture King County Performance
Network Site Specific Art Happenings and is supported by 4Culture
and the City of Bellevue/Bellevue Arts Commission and Bellevue Parks
and Community Services. |
